Can we fast forward to March? Thanks.

Fun fact: We're approximately 70 days from spring, but who's counting? Honestly, though, with all the bright, fun makeup colors and cool spring 2022 fashion trends spotted on the Fashion Week runways, can you blame me for wanting to speed past the dreary winter months so I can start experimenting with some color? Spring 2022's nail trends get in on all the fun too.

This season, get ready to spice it up because a ton of the runway lewks didn't stick to the "traditional" spring nail trends. Think rhinestone accents, metallic French manicures, and pointy black tips—don't worry though, there were plenty of ~florals~ too. So if you want to try out something new or stick with the pastel nail polishes and floral prints, take a look through this round-up of spring nail trends because there's something for everyone. And as a nice lil' bonus, I threw in the products you need to try yourself to create the looks at home. Now, get to scrolling/shopping/screenshotting.

The French manicure resurgence isn't slowing down anytime soon. At Collina Strada, nail artist Naomi Yasuda used a metallic pink polish for the tips of models' nails, which created a playful accent to their bright and colorful looks.

The best part about Spring 2022's colorful Frenchie trend is that the bolder the color, the cooler the look. It's great for those who don't usually go for bright nails because the color is only deposited on the tip. This metallic purple polish is the perfect shade to recreate the runway lewk. If you struggle with creating a French tip, because like, same, try out a silicon nail stamp for the easiest DIY French manicure ever.

Rhinestones and sparkles were spotted on the faces, clothes, and hair of the spring 2022 runways, which means rhinestone embellishments are undoubtedly the move for your nails too. In addition to fun pink and blue nails, Alice + Olivia models also rocked black nails with rhinestone and pearl accents.

Embellished nails look intimidating, but fear not, they're pretty simple to do at home. Paint your nails with your fave nail color, and using the rhinestone dotting pen, grab your rhinestone of choice. Place a dot of nail glue on the back of the embellishment, and then place it on top of the polish. (Wait a few seconds so it dries nice and good.) If you reallyyy want to nail (hehe) this trend, place a few on your lash line with some lash glue for the ultimate spring 2022 look.

One way to make stiletto nails stand out and highlight the dramatic shape is to outline the pointed tips in a bold black polish, as seen at LaQuan Smith.

When you want the look of stiletto nails but not the feel (so sharp!), try coffin-shaped nails that feature black V-shaped tips. With this set, you still get all the parts you love about this spring 2022 nail trend, like the pointed shape and the black French tips.

Tell me, what is spring without pink and blue nail polish? Alice + Olivia and nail artist Alicia Torello clearly agree because the models wore bright, fun colors, like this turquoise blue and fuchsia abstract design.

Unlike the dusty blue polishes of winter, this robin's-egg light blue nail polish is bright, bold, and looks like spring in a bottle. Pair it with a bright pink to get the look above.

Possibly the only thing more springtime than turquoise nail polish is flower nail designs on turquoise nail polish. The nails at Markarian featured soft florals and jeweled accents, like the ones shown here.

To DIY one of the fun floral looks by nail artist Gina Edwards, start with a couple of coats of a greenish-blue polish like this one to make your base, then use a small brush dipped in green and white nail polish to paint the florets and stems.

When in doubt—especially during spring—go with a pretty pastel pink nail polish. Whether you're wearing bright, colorful prints, like the styles shown at Brandon Maxwell or something more subdued, pink is always a good choice.

Nail artist Deborah Lippmann used two coats of this sheer pink to create the look above. And guess what? This healthier alternative to gel nail polish (it's 10-free!) lasts a lot longer than your usual formula. Always a plus.

Dark nail polish isn't an obvious choice for spring, but when you pair it with minimalist nail art, it works. The scalloped edge and negative space shown on the nails at Peter Do still feel light and airy.

This jet-black nail polish is just the shade you need to create your own version of these spring 2022 nails. Play around with striping brushes of different lengths until you find the organic shape you like best.

What do you get when you take a classic manicure and mix it with a classic almond nail shape? You get the elegant nails Jin Soon created for the Michael Kors spring 2022 show.

I've tried my hand at a DIY French manicure, and let me tell ya—save the effort and get yourself some of this kit instead. Inside, you get everything you need, like nail glue, a double-sided nail file, a cuticle stick, and an alcohol pad, to easily pop 'em on and off.

Honestly, when your natural nails look as good as these square nails from the Altuzarra show, all you need is a sheer coat of polish to enhance their beauty.

The key to this clean, simple nail is this natural nail polish—and I mean "natural" in more than one way. This 10-free polish with a pink-tinted sheer coverage will give you that my-nails-but-better look.

This spring, expect lots of rhinestones and crystals. And would you believe me if I said the nails at Rebecca Minkoff were press-ons? YUP. Get you a good nail glue for both the nails and the gems.

Edwards used these DIY acrylic nails to create this statement nail look and covered them in crystals. Pro tip: Apply the rhinestones before you glue these press-ons to your nail.

Red nail polish makes a bold statement no matter the nail shape or length. Case in point: these short nails from Naeem Khan that held their own against all the intricate clothing designs.

This crimson winter nail polish, the same one nail artist Aki used on the runway models, is the perfect shade for transitioning into early spring. Valentine's Day nails, anyone?!

This manicure type shown at Ulla Johnson puts more of an emphasis on nail health than nail art, know what I mean? With a sheer polish like this, the focus is all on moisturized cuticles and a clean shape.

More color than a clear top coat, but less pigment than an opaque nude, this transparent shade evens out the nail without covering up your natural nails.

Julie Kandalec's inspo for the nails at Rodarte? All the colors in the sky at dawn and dusk. Think lots of pastels and shimmery, iridescent nail polishes of all colors.

This pearlescent polish looks just like a golden hour sky and has the right amount of glitter to add a little sparkle without being impossible to remove later.

One look at Rodarte stood out among the rest, and it was these zebra-print nails. Animal print is always a fun choice, but that's especially the case for spring 2022.

Painting zebra stripes is much easier than you'd think as long as you have the right tools. Since each stripe is supposed to be different from the next, it's easy to cover up a mistake sans nail polish remover, but you'll definitely need a long, fine-tip brush like this one.

The models at Brandon Maxwell also wore nude nail polish (sensing a theme yet??) but went with a more opaque, taupe shade, as seen here.

Nothing says spring more than switching from hot coffee to cold brew, which is why this color used at Tory Burch makes so much sense for a spring 2022 nail trend. Described as "milk hazelnut," this shade looks like your morning latte once the ice has melted, tell me I'm wrong.
