Pastels are always a spring staple, but this season’s crop is even softer and more ethereal than the usual shades.

Try updating classic pink for the season with a quartz-inspired hue. (Pro tip: Gel looks more opaque, while regular polish will be more translucent.)

Both the color-averse and color-obsessed will fawn over this barely purple shade.

Bold, verdant shades of green signal the change of seasons (and happen to be a major spring runway trend).

A darker, matte mani is an unexpected twist on both the black and green color trends.

You can’t go wrong with Gucci green.

This gel-like lacquer is dark and mysterious—and lasts for days without chipping.

While some models at Markarian wore nails with prints to match the collection, others had just a couple heart-adorned acrylics, seen here.

Meanwhile, the mod floral trend continued to reign at Sandy Liang, where models wore ManiMe gel stickers designed by celebrity manicurist Mei Kawajiri.

These nail decals couldn't be easier to use.

Top off any polish with these cute little nail stickers, or apply them to naked nails for a mess-free DIY mani.

The French manicure has been steadily making a comeback for a while now, but expect fun twists like this metallic pink-on-pink look from Collina Strada.

This wavy French-ish look from Peter Do is a cool update to the negative-space look (and doesn’t require much of a steady hand to replicate).

This deep black is courtesy of Machine Gun Kelly’s debut nail collection.

Having a French manicure brush on-hand helps even novices get pro-looking results at home.

When in doubt, neutral never fails. Jin Soon Choi used the color Muse from her own line for this classic look at Altuzarra.

At Ulla Johnson, the Deborah Lippmann nail polish shade was a bit warmer, but equally pretty and versatile.

This neutral nail shade looks clean and fresh on everyone.

For the most natural look, simply paint top coat onto naked nails for added shine and protection.

Spotted at LaQuan Smith: the return of this striking shape. It may not be the most practical nail trend of the season, but it sure looks cool.

Never ones to shy away from drama, The Blonds sent models down the runway in versions of the long, pointy shape to match their over-the-top looks.

Don't bother filing your real nails into oblivion. These stick-on nails look so real.

When two iconic Italian luxury brands—Versace and Fendi—combined their powers for a runway show, there had to be a little sparkle involved, including rhinestone-adorned manicures.

And at Rebecca Minkoff, crystals covered the models’ clear faux acrylics, created by Gina Edwards for Kiss.

This set has 12 rhinestone-encrusted accent nails, so you can easily get the look (no tweezers involved).

Models at Rodarte wore several different nail looks by Morgan Taylor, including this fierce zebra print.

Just peel and apply these polish strips to get an animal-print look without straining your eyes.
