Though I wish it wasn't the case, getting my nails done on a regular basis is low on the list of priorities. I'd much rather spend my free time doing quite literally anything else than having my hands held hostage. But I also hate having unkempt fingernails. The compromise here used to be that I'd get my nails done once a month and then they'd look good for about a week, before they became unkempt and scraggly (I bite them). And so the cycle would go on and on. But last year the Green Flash fell into my lap and it helped me work out a great interim manicure routine.

Try as I used to, traditional nail polish wouldn't work for me because my at-home manis would inevitably be smudged and sloppy. So that was a no-go. The thing that changed the game for me with Green Flash is that the LED lamp and related polishes cure the nail for a gel-like effect, with wear up to 10 days. So I can, in a matter of minutes, ensure that each nail is polished and nick-free. And I say gel-like effect because the plant-based polishes from Green Flash will come off with regular nail polish remover! It's not a struggle. Game-changer.

For me, the cured Green Flash polish lasts about a week before I need to swap it, but this still allows me to keep my fingers manicured on a regular basis. I just pick a night to catch up on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and by the end of the episode, I've re-polished my nails. This has both been more efficient for me, and in theory, has saved me money because on the off-chance I'd need to nip out to the nail salon more than once a month, I can now do it at home in less than an hour, fully dried, without smudging.
